NASA has a cool website called J-Track that lets you see the position of satellites in nearly real-time. (The location of each satellite is updated every few seconds.) You can explore the constellation of satellites in 3D. It’s quite shocking just how many satellites are up there.

For Mac and Windows users there is also a shareware screen saver called Freefall that does the same thing with a bit more style and flair.
