Jim & Casper Go to Church looks like an intriguing book. I haven’t purchased it. But the review over on churchrelevance.com got my curiosity up. In summary, it shares the experience of two men — a former pastor and an atheist — as they visit various churches in the United States.
The review above includes some very insightful comments from one of the authors, Matt (the atheist), on such things as worship music, staging, song lyrics, and the general well-being of the church. Really makes you wonder how seeker-friendly the so-called “seeker-friendly” churches are.
